Only New Balance can drop a ton of grey sneakers and still make them all look distinct from one another. The Boston brand’s most recent Grey Days collection is a prime example, featuring a dozen models distinguished by materials and understated details, on top of obvious differences in silhouette. If the New Balance 2010 “Grey Days” is a bit too Y2K for your tastes, the brand has an alternate grey style of the wonderfully lowkey variety.
The New Balance 2010 “Harbor Grey” embraces its titular shade throughout, even on elements like the N logos and ABZORB cushioning pods that usually feature contrasting shades. A mesh, leather, and suede upper mimics the formula of the brand’s premium Made in USA line, while black outsoles provide the only real non-grey break underfoot.
The New Balance 2010 “Harbor Grey” has already begun surfacing at EU retailers, meaning a US drop shouldn’t be too far out. Expect a $145 retail price on arrival, a $15 reduction from the model’s original MSRP.
